The reader is reading particularly suitable for national ID cards and can be used with computers equipped with a USB port. The widely used USB-A connector ensures compatibility with both new and older computers.
Plug & Play functionality enables immediate use without requiring driver installation. To use it with an inserted card, simply install the appropriate application. The reader is compatible with most national eID (electronic ID) applications.
The card reader supports all common formats of contact Smart Cards, identification system cards, and other chip cards, including contact-based banking payment cards and contact electronic ID cards*. Compatibility with all major operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android, allows for extensive use across computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
The smart LED indicator lights up briefly when activity changes and then turns off to avoid disturbing the user. Its compact design, high-quality construction, non-slip pad, and sufficiently long cable ensure easy and seamless use.

Compact desktop Smart card / ID card reader AXAGON CRE-SM3T FlatReader with USB 2.0 interface. It is especially suitable as an ID card reader for use with computers that have a USB input. The most widespread USB-A connector ensures connection to both new and older computers.

Thanks to the Plug&Play function, the reader is immediately operational without the need to install drivers. For further work with the inserted card, just install the appropriate application. The reader is compatible with most national applications for eID (electronic ID cards).

The card reader supports all common contact Smart card formats, chip cards and other cards, including contact bank payment cards or contact electronic ID cards *. Compatibility with all common OS such as Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, allows wide use on desktops and laptops as well as smartphones and tablets.

The smart LED indicator lights up shortly after the activity change, then turns off and doesn't bother the user with unnecessary light. Compact design, high-quality manufacturing, anti-slip pad and long cable ensure easy and trouble-free use.
